At-home workouts have really been keeping me sane during this quarantine period while the gyms and group fitness studios are all closed. If you feel like your energy levels are low and you’re starting to go a little stir crazy, I highly recommend you get up and get moving! Whether it’s going for a run or walk outside on a nice day or doing one of the strength training routines from the “WORKOUTS” highlight on my Instagram page, sweating it out will be good for your body AND your mind.

To help jumpstart your fitness goals this month, I’m sharing some at-home workout must haves! These are all of the basic essentials I’ve been using during the quarantine to keep up with my fitness routine. I even found some high-quality dupes for my fave athletic wear to help you guys save as much as possible!

1. SNEAKERS: Both the Nike Flyknits and the Adidas UltraBoost sneakers are super comfy! You can wear them for running and cross-training. The quality is amazing, and they will definitely last you years to come. I’ve found that both these sneakers run true to size.

2. WORKOUT TANK: I’m obsessed with Alo’s Cross-Front Crop Tank. I’m 5’2” 115 lbs and the size small fits perfectly. I love that this top stays in place while I workout, so I never have to worry about stopping to adjust or feeling uncomfortable. The material is breathable, but also thick enough that it won’t become see-through or show stains during your sweatiest workout. If you aren’t ready to commit to brand-name athletic wear just yet, I found a highly-rated dupe for this tank!

3. WORKOUT LEGGINGS: These Lululemon leggings are a splurge, but oh so worth it! I have a drawer full of the align leggings in all different colors and prints, but the camo print will always be a fave. The size 4 fits just right, and I love how breathable the fabric is. I opt for the 25” length, which hits just slightly above my ankles (I’m 5’2”). However, if you do not consider yourself petite, I recommend the 28” length if you want the hem at your ankles instead of a more cropped look. I also found a high-quality dupe for these leggings! They are just as buttery-soft as the Lululemon leggings, but for much less $$$$$. I wear a size small in the dupes.

4. ACCESSORIES: Bodyweight exercises are great, but they definitely do not compare to training with some added resistance! Dumbbells are a hot commodity right now, but I managed to find an 8-pound pair and a 6-pound pair still in stock. I’ve also been using these resistance bands to really feel the burn during my leg day workouts. So happy they come in a set with a variety of resistance levels so I can switch up the intensity as needed! This long loop resistance band has become my new bff for chest/back/arms workouts… I can use it for so many workouts that I thought I wouldn’t be able to do without a gym! If you want more of a variety in the type of resistance during your workouts, I found a set of 4 long loop resistance bands. I prefer to do most of my at-home workouts on a mat rather than on the hardwood floors in my apartment (ouch!), and this yoga mat is hands down one of the best out there! I’ve had it for 4 years now, and it has endured countless sweaty workouts without losing its top-tier quality. Last but certainly not least, it’s important to stay hydrated before, during, and after an intense workout! I always have my Hydro Flask water bottle close by. It comes in a bunch of different colors, so you will definitely find one that matches your style.
